In 1972, the Smith Family founded Bob Smith Lincoln Mercury with a mission to provide the people of Billings and eastern Montana with quality vehicles from a family dealership that prioritizes customers. Thanks to the support of the Billings community, Bob Smith Lincoln thrived and became an integral part of the area. As the dealership grew, they expanded their lineup with other quality vehicles, maintaining the same dedication as when they first opened.Â
In 1999, the Smith family introduced Bob Smith Mazda to the Billings community, bringing a brand renowned for its dependability. This addition expanded customer options, supported by the dealership's strong reputation. The next significant milestone for the Smith Family was acquiring Hardin Ford. Since 1903, the Ford Family has been a cornerstone of American history, and opening Bob Smith Ford Hardin in 2013 was a momentous event. Since then, Bob Smith Ford Hardin has been dedicated to providing eastern Montana with the same seamless car-buying experience for new Fords and quality pre-owned vehicles that the Smith Family has offered since 1972. Additionally, the Ford dealership has enabled us to service both Ford and Lincoln vehicles for our customers' standard maintenance and warranty needs in both cities, making it easier for Bob Smith Motors to accommodate our customers' needs.Â
Over the past 52 years, Bob Smith Motors has remained dedicated to Billings and all of Montana. Beyond owning three dealerships, the Smith Family actively participates in the community, owning CJ's Restaurant and Village Inn Pizza, and supporting local charities like Landon Legacy.
