Founded by Robert H. Smith, Sr., better known in the community as 'Big Bob' or 'Bubba'. Bob Smith Lincoln Mercury was established in 1972 in the Billings, Montana downtown area at the sight formerly know as Clark Lincoln Mercury.
Bob's son Scott and his grandson Robbie run the day to day operations of 'Bob Smith Motors' and all are committed to the Principals and Standards Big Bob established for nearly 40 years.
Originally a Lincoln-Mercury dealership. Bob Smith Lincoln Mercury became Bob Smith Motors with the acquistion of the Mitsubishi and Mazda franchises during the 1990's. Bob Smith Motors has always been the the volume leader in state of Montana in Lincoln and Mercury sales. Bob Smith is proud to be the only Mitsubishi dealer in Montana and Bob Smith is one of two Mazda dealerships in the state. Bob Smith is honored to serve Southern, Central, and Eastern Montana as well as Northern Wyoming. With the improvement of our easy to use website, we are pleased that our boundaries are not limited to Montana or Wyoming state lines.
